Kusal Perera

Kusal Perera, born on August 17, 1990, in Kalutara, Sri Lanka, is a Sri Lankan cricketer who plays as a left-handed batsman and wicketkeeper. He is considered the successor to Kumar Sangakkara behind the stumps and has been one of Sri Lanka's most dynamic batsmen in limited-overs cricket. Perera played a memorable innings of 153 not out against South Africa in Durban in 2019, considered one of the greatest fourth-innings chases in Test cricket history. He has played Tests, ODIs, and T20Is for Sri Lanka and is known for his aggressive batting style and his ability to play match-winning innings under pressure.
