Hassan Blasim is an Iraqi-Egyptian writer known for his short story collections 'The Corpse Exhibition' and 'Iraqi Christ.' Born in 1973, his work explores themes of displacement, violence, and the human cost of war. He has won the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize and is considered one of the most important Arabic-language writers of his generation.
